I was born and raised in Franklin County, Alabama where I attended a small K-8th grade, 1A school. I moved to Huntsville to attend Lee High School where I participated in the Creative Writing Magnet for 4 years. I have been involved in AAA as a parent/volunteer since 2009. I have a strong love for the Arts and I have a strong belief that the magnet programs at AAA can take our students' education to the next level. I am excited to be a certified Arts Integration Specialist.

I taught 4th grade for 2 years at Monte Sano Elementary, 3rd grade for 1 year at Montview Elementary, and 4th grade for 2 years at AAA. I currently teach 6th grade Social Studies and Creative Writing.
