I grew up in northwest Limestone County. I currently live near the community in which I grew up. My husband and I have a beautiful daughter named Emmi Grace. We also have one sweet puppy named Max. Our favorite place on earth is Walt Disney World, and we visit as often as possible. I am very active in my church, and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I am very excited to be here at AAA Middle School working with the students, staff, and parents. This school year, the library will be open every day from 7:45-3:00. I hope you all have a fabulous school year!

I have been teaching since 2006. My first 9 years I taught Kindergarten in the Decatur City School system. I became the Library Media Specialist for ASFL in 2015, and then moved to Grissom High School as a media specialist in 2018. In 2022, I transitioned into the role of Innovative Technology Teacher. This year I have moved back into the position of Library Media Specialist at AAA Middle School.
