Kaila Mathews
I am thrilled to be teaching Spanish in the elementary school setting. In February 2022 I joined the ASFL family. Students may know me as Mrs. Mathews, Señora Mathews, or just Señora. In 2019, I concluded my DII collegiate volleyball career and graduated from Northern Michigan University with a B.A. in Spanish. Despite attending college 1,000 miles away with my high school sweetheart, I am actually an Alabama native from Hoover. Naturally that makes me a huge football fan - both collegiate and professional. When football is not in season, I love to spend my free time by staying active, cooking, reading, and crafting. I am looking forward to another great year of fun learning and tremendous growth!
