I have lived in Huntsville, Alabama all of my life. I met my husband on Redstone Arsenal when he was here as a soldier for some training, and we have been married for 28 years. We have 3 wonderful children- Katelyn, Austin, and Morgan, and one dog. I love to travel, watch sporting events, and spend time with my family in my spare time. Math is my absolute favorite thing to teach! I am so excited about getting to know all of my students and parents this year.

Math

This will be my 25th year of teaching with most of those years in 5th Grade. I spent one year as a Reading coach, but I missed the classroom so much that I went back. I taught at Ridgecrest Elementary School for 4 years where I taught 3rd and 4th grades. I then moved to Chapman Elementary School where I taught for 18 years. My next move took me to Madison County Schools for 2 years teaching 5th grade I am very glad to be back in Huntsville City Schools at ASFL Elementary School.
