Dr. Rutledge is a native of Marion, AL and currently resides in Madison. Dr. Rutledge is beginning his tenth year of teaching music education. He has taught middle school and high school band in the states of Alabama and Tennessee. He enjoys working with young musicians and helping them reach their full potential. Music is an important part of his life, and he hopes to inspire the next generation of leaders through music.

In his spare time, Dr. Rutledge likes to listen to music and spend time with his family. He also loves to watch sports, particularly college football, professional basketball, and baseball. He is excited to work with the students of ASFL and hopes to see growth in number of student involved in the music program and to grow the musicianship throughout the ASFL Music Program.
