My name is Avery Murphree and I am a Gifted Specialist at Blossomwood Elementary. I have been teaching in the GATE program since 2016 and have been at Blossomwood since 2020. I’ve lived in Huntsville most of my life and I’m proud to call the Rocket City home. My wonderful husband and I have two sons who are also part of the Huntsville City Schools system. I love cooking, reading, gardening, and teaching GATE. I strive to create a creative, safe, and inviting space for gifted students to explore and expand their diverse talents.
