Welcome to 5th Grade!

Hello, my name is Gina DelaMerced and I have the pleasure of teaching 5th grade Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. In addition to my role as an educator, I am also a proud mother. Recently, my daughter purchased her first house and my son is currently attending UAH.

When I am not in the classroom, I cherish the moments spent with my family. Being married and having a daughter and a son brings me immense joy. In my free time, I indulge in reading, gardening, traveling, and immersing myself in the beauty of nature.

I am truly grateful to be a part of the Blossomwood family and eagerly anticipate another remarkable year. Together, we will embark on an incredible journey of discovery and growth. I am genuinely excited to witness each and every one of you flourish!

Elementary Instruction

I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Education from National Louis University in Illinois and embarked on my teaching journey in 2012. For the initial five years of my career, I dedicated myself to teaching 4th grade in Illinois. Currently, I am thrilled to be starting my 7th year as an educator at Blossomwood.
