Mrs. Hoppe-McQueen loves music and is happy to be able to share that love through both performing and teaching. She is the principal harpist with the Shoals Symphony Orchestra in Florence, Alabama and a member of the music ministry at First Baptist Church, Huntsville. She and her husband enjoy exploring museums and going on hikes with their four young sons.

Mrs. Hoppe-McQueen has spent the last fifteen years teaching general music, choir, and instrumental lessons to preschoolers, elementary school students, middle schoolers, and high schoolers in various local private schools, community ensembles, summer camps, after school programs, and churches. She is happy to begin her second year as a sixth-grade choir teacher with HCS.
