Welcome to 6th grade! My name is Kenya Cutts and I am so excited to teach Reading and English this year! My journey as an educator has been extremely rewarding. I am looking forward to impacting the lives of my students and inspiring life-long learners. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my three beautiful children, traveling, playing basketball, watching movies, reading, writing and Hula hooping!

Experience

I began my career as an educator in 2005 for Prince George's County Public Schools in the state of Maryland. I taught 1st and 4th grades at James Ryder Randall Elementary School. In 2012, I moved to Huntsville and began teaching for Huntsville City Schools where I taught 5th grade at Whitesburg P-8. The next year I became a Reading Intervention Teacher at Huntsville Middle School where I implemented the Read 180 program to 6th, 7th and 8th graders. I have been teaching at Blossomwood since 2015.
