Welcome to 5th Grade! I look forward to my 7th year teaching Reading and Social Studies at Blossomwood Elementary School. My husband and I had our first child, Eli, in October. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, napping, and watching Alabama football. It will be a great year!

I graduated from Athens State University in Elementary Education and a minor in English Language Learning. I completed my student teaching at another school in Huntsville City and immediately after I finished I was offered a 5th grade Reading position. Shortly after, I was transferred to Blossomwood Elementary to teach 6th grade Social Studies. I moved down to 5th grade in August of 2018 and began teaching Reading. I am excited to begin another year teaching 5th grade Reading and Social Studies.
