Hello! My name is Shakevia Williams (pronounced Sha-key- v- uh), and I am a first-year teacher (2022). My birthday is September 3rd. I am born and raised in Alabama. I come from a small family. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, and creating new memories! My hopes for my students are for them to know they matter! I want them to know that they have a voice. Also, I want them to know that I love them, and I want to help them become the best version of themselves. I love being a light in the community, and I am always open to learning new information. I am more than thrilled that I get to be a first-year teacher with Huntsville City schools, and I can't wait to help and see growth with my students!
