Hello there! I’m Mr. Merriweather.

I’m originally from Birmingham, AL and came to Huntsville right after graduating high school to attend Alabama A&M University. Since then, Huntsville has become my home. At AAMU I received my bachelor’s in Graphic Design and my master’s in Art Education. My education, and my collective experiences while pursuing it, have shaped my worldview and made me the person I am today. I became an educator so that I could help others in their journeys to find themselves and their truths through the creation of art.

I’m also the Coach of our eSports team! As a lifelong video game enthusiast, helping our students turn their passion into competitive power and scholastic recognition has been a great honor.
