Harold Swopes
My name is Harold Swopes and I am a native of Decatur, Alabama. I've been married to my wife Terresar (Gina) since 1992 and we have three children: Laquisha, Shiniece, and Harold Jr. (who currently serves on the Huntsville Police Department). As a student at the University of Alabama, I was a member of the 1992 National Championship Team under Coach Gene Stallings. Prior to joining the Montview staff, I worked in the corporate world and had football coaching stints at the middle school, high school and collegiate levels. A highlight was coaching under the University of North Alabama's Coach Bobby Wallace during the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Gulf South Conference Championships. My coaching philosophy can be summed up as, “Healthy Heart, Healthy Start." I believe in fostering an environment of health and wellness for each and every human being.
