I have been teaching at Columbia High School for thirteen years, but my teaching career with Huntsville City Schools didn't begin here. I was first a Lee General during the 2005-2009 school years.

I was born and raised in Birmingham, and attended Alabama A&M University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education/Business Education. Growing up in Birmingham, I was a feature twirler and band member receiving a full scholarship for Alabama A&M University Marching Maroon & White Band. Whether on or off the field, as a dance coach for Columbia High School (2009-2015), my career has afforded me the opportunity to inspire and challenge every student equally, while instilling in each of them a sense of endless possibilities.

I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with my husband, two children, two granddaughters, loved ones, and friends.
