Sheila Haught
Hi! My name is Sheila Haught and I am so excited to be at Columbia this year! I am a southern girl who has lived all over this country before finally returning to the South a few years ago. I was born in Florida, but I grew up all over- Atlanta, Georgia; Huntington, West Virginia; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Denver, Colorado, and of course Ohio. Ohio is the home of my alma mater, The Ohio State University. So no matter where I go, I will always be a Buckeye girl! O-H!
Next to Jesus Christ, the most valuable and precious thing in my life is my daughter, Haley Georgia. We moved from Ohio to Alabama a few years ago so that we could be close to family. I have a brother and a sister here in Huntsville, another sister in Atlanta, Georgia and another brother up North who hasn't made the migration back to the South yet.
I love the students so much! They never cease to surprise and amaze me in the most wonderful ways. To those of you whose children I already know, I look forward to catching up with them about their summer and what their plans are for this year. This is going to be the best year ever at Columbia!
