I am Ms. Vernadine Fitcheard, mother of Tanya, Shawn Jr., and Princeton Fitcheard and grandmother of Naomi and Elijah. I was born and raised in the small town of Boligee, AL. I received my High School Diploma from Paramount High School, Bachelor of Arts from Stillman College, and Master's from Alabama A&M University. I served 16 years in the United States Army Reserves. I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. I have been teaching for 24 years. I am currently FBLA Advisor, NHS Sponsor, and Women Bowling Coach. "I Believe the Children are our Future..." that is why I teach.
