Gaile Rice
I am a Professional School Counselor assigned to serve both Highlands and Chapman Elementary School(s). All students will participate in a guidance lesson every other week. The lessons will be based on standards taken from the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) which is the National Model for Counselors. The focus will be on Academics, Careers, and Personal/Social Development. My goal is to provide all students with a positive, diverse, multicultural learning environment to help them to become inspired, responsible, and creative problem solvers.
I am originally from Montgomery, Alabama where I was educated in the Montgomery Co. School System. My husband Larry and I have two sons who happens to be the joy of our lives and a blessing. During my spare time, I love spending time with my family, traveling, meeting new people, visiting the sick and shut in and spending time with my spiritual family at Blue Spring Road Church Of Christ.
"Our lives are changed by what we do, not by what others do to us."
