Hello,

My name is Tina Eddings and I am a Pre-K teacher at Challenger Elementary. I am a 2006 graduate of Athens State University, where I studied Early Childhood Education. I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2017. I am the mother of 3 and the grandmother of 8 children. I grew up in the small town of Double Springs, Alabama, which is located near the Bankhead forrest and Sypsy river. I spent most of my younger years swimming, fishing and boating on Smith Lake. Currently, I enjoy spenidng time with family and friends traveling, especially to the beach. I also love painting with oil.

I have worked with HCS the past 12 years with School Readiness Department as a Pre-K teacher at Highlands Elementary School. I worked with theSchool Readiness Leadership team for several years. I have also volunteered with the LENA program. I taught Kindergarten at Rolling Hills Elem. during 2009 -2010 school year. I have also served as a center manager for CAPNA Headstart in 2007.
