Mrs. Thompson started teaching at Challenger Middle School in 2006. Mrs. Thompson loved singing in choir in middle and high school, and that is where her desire to teach music began. Mrs. Thompson enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Mrs. Thompson also enjoys listening to music, reading, watching SEC football (Roll Tide!) and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Thompson taught elementary school music for two years in Georgia before moving to Huntsville and starting at Challenger. Mrs. Thompson is a member of the National Association for Music Education and the Alabama Vocal Association. She also serves as secretary of the Huntsville City Schools Choral Directions Association.
