I have been a music educator since 1989. I have been in Huntsville City Schools since 2006. Teaching music is my passion. I play the French Horn in our church orchestra and I also play the piano. My husband, Jud, is on staff at First Baptist Huntsville as Executive pastor. We are proud parents of two boys who are Huntsville City Schools products and graduated from Auburn University. Blake and his wife Sarah live in Nashville with their two boys, David and Judson. He is a supply chain director for Dollar General Corp. Sarah manages their busy household. Kyle and his wife Kendall live in Madison and have two King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. Kyle is a flight test engineer at Redstone Testing Center and Kendall is an administrative assistant for a financial planner. I also enjoy cooking, crossword puzzles and travelling.

I have taught in Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee and now Alabama. I have taught mainly Elementary Music Education but have also taught Middle School Band and Choir as well as High School band and choir.
