Hello! My name is April Fellman and I am thrilled to be teaching at Goldsmith! I have four wonderful children named Jaxton, Xander, Phoenix, and Brexin. Their ages range from 7 to 17. I am a proud wife to my husband Curtis who is my high school sweetheart. Together we have lived in Florida, Alaska, Las Vegas and now Jackson County, Alabama. We own a small farm that keeps us busy in our free time. We have goats, sheep, pigs, geese, ducks, turkeys, chickens, dogs, cats, and an albino hedgehog. We call our farm Valhalla 5X Ranch based on my husband's Norwegian heritage. I love spending time with our animals and making homemade soaps. Beyond teaching, running a small farm, and being a mom, I love to eat sushi, read, and listen to music while cooking. My favorite place, other than home, is Rock City and when I was a kid my dream was to live in that area. Now I am a short hour away and living my dream! I hope one day all my students get to live their dreams too!
