My name is Susan Svendsen. I was born in Tennessee and raised mostly in Indiana/Madison Alabama. I moved from Indiana to Alabama when I was in elementary school. I have lived in the Huntsville/Madison area for over 20 years. I live in Madison with my daughter, Sydney, who keeps me running. I have been teaching for over 10 years. I have always wanted to be a teacher and am so excited to have my dreams come true!! I’m so excited to be able to teach at Goldsmith Schiffman.

Athens State University, B.S. Elementary Education

I graduated from Athens State University with a BS in Elementary Education in 2008. Since that time I have taught in other school districts and grades. I have taught in Madison City, Madison County, and now Huntsville City Schools. I have taught all grades up to sixth grade and enjoy working at Goldsmith.
