I am so excited to join the Grissom Tiger family! I have lived in Huntsville my whole life, but this will be my first year teaching at Grissom. When I’m not chasing around my three daughters, I’m usually reading. My book genre of choice is historical fiction, but I like to explore other genres as well. Aside from reading, I also enjoy photography, traveling, movies, and art. If I could have one superpower, it would definitely be the ability to time travel.

I love discovering new stories; sometimes, those stories come from a conversation, a piece of paper, or on a T.V. screen. There are so many stories to be heard and that drives my love of English Language Arts. My hope for this year is that I can instill a love of speaking, listening, discovery, and writing in all of my students.
