I am Bayleigh Hicks, a Huntsville native and graduate of Sparkman High School. I come from a family of educators and was inspired to become a teacher when I was little. Teaching has always been a passion of mine as I have loved working with students and all things academia from a young age. Every year I fall more in love with my profession and look forward to working with new students, teachers, and families. I am excited for another year of learning as we equip and empower our students to achieve their full potential as responsible, productive citizens.

I attended The University of Alabama and received my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education/English Language Arts. I returned to Huntsville, AL and began my career as an educator in Huntsville City Schools. As I furthered my education, I attended The University of West Alabama and received my Masters Degree in Instructional Leadership.
