Brooke Hall
I was born and raised in Huntsville, AL, graduating from Grissom High School in 2014! I am so happy to be back with the Grissom Tigers, a community of hard workers and learners. My favorite aspect of teaching is getting to guide students as they apply their classroom learning to their own interests and goals. I am excited to impart all my knowledge about speaking, reading, and writing to my students so that they can bring those skills into their future academic and professional pursuits. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy chasing my energetic Goldendoodle, Poppy, around the backyard (she never lets me catch her)! I also love gardening, cooking, reading, spending time with family, and settling in for a Netflix marathon.

Experience
I realized I had a passion for teaching when I took a summer reading teacher job with the Institute of Reading Development. I was able to teach online and in-person (both in state and out of state). This gave me the awesome opportunity to work with students from all over the country and learn the best ways to help each unique person to reach their learning goals. I continue to work as an ACT/English tutor during the evenings, giving me a great perspective on the wide range of student abilities and differences.
