I am a native Alabamian, a graduate of the University of Alabama, and I have been teaching at Grissom since January of 1986. I have greatly enjoyed my career, having been mentored by outstanding faculty members, and having the chance to work with the best students in the state.

I currently teach AP Capstone Research, 12th Grade Economics, and Leadership.

I have always believed in teaching by mutual respect, and allowing students to prove what they can do. As such, I’ve been proud to be involved with developing student leaders at Grissom, sponsoring SGA beginning in 1992, Senior Class in 2001 and now co-sponsoring the Grissom Student Leadership Council. I also sponsor the Key Club, GSA, and the Grissom Superfans.
