Hi,

I am from Huntsville, Alabama. I attended Hunstville High School, Athens State University, and A&M University. I hold a Master's Degree in Collaborative Education K-12. I am entering my 18th year of teaching with Huntsville City Schools. I taught for 11 years at Butler High school and for the past 6 years I have been the Project SEARCH Instructor for Huntsville City Schools. I am a wife and mother of three. I have two sons in college at Auburn University, War Eagle, and a 10 year old daughter going into the 5th grade. I am also a cat and dog mom. I enjoy running, spending time with my friends and family, and laughing. I am passionate about helping young people learn how to become more independent and prepare for post-school success. I have really high expectations for all of my students because I believe students can and will work to our expectations. I am looking forward to a year full of new challenges, tremendous growth, and new friends.
