I was born and raised in Houston, Texas but moved to the Huntsville area five years ago. I have always had a connection to Alabama as my mother was from Birmingham, and I spent many childhood summers visiting family in Alabama. When I am not at work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, reading a good book, studying the Bible, and watching a film or binge-worthy show. I also enjoy walking and swimming. I have two sons: a sophomore at UAB studying Biomedical Sciences and a high school senior studying music at Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. I absolutely love teaching because it is fun and exciting, and I enjoy getting to know my students. I work hard to create interesting lessons that stretch and grow my students, and I expect them to work hard as well. While I truly enjoy classroom interaction, I look forward to getting to know all of my students online until we can meet in person.
