I am so happy to be joining the teams at Hampton Cove, Monte Sano, and Dawson Elementary Schools! I am an art teacher because I want to give young artists the tools to be successful, self-confident, and creative beyond the classroom. I feel lucky to be able to share my love of art with your children and create a safe, positive space for all students’ voices to be heard and celebrated. I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, and I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting at the University of North Alabama. I love to use acrylic paint and watercolors to make vivid landscapes and portraits of loved ones. I am happiest when I am helping others, spending time with family, painting in the woods, or finding flowers on long hikes. My favorite artists are the ones I get to teach!
