I'm originally from Virginia, but moved here to Huntsville, AL in 1997, so I consider it my home. I spend a lot of vacation time traveling to visit family in Iowa and Virginia; I also enjoy camping in the mountains. For evening and weekend entertainment, I love dogs and good books (especially fantasy or historical fiction). Outside school, I enjoy reading, hiking, bicycling and my rescued terrier, Buddy.
