Experience

Before coming to Hampton Cove, I taught a year in Washington DC and several years at camps and enrichment programs, including 13 years at US Space Camp.

Here at Hampton Cove Middle, I taught Physical Science until Huntsville City Schools adopted the Project Lead the Way curriculum for applied science and engineering; then I jumped at the chance for more lab time. I am certified for 9 of the 10 PLTW Gateway units for middle school.

I have proudly served on curriculum and planning committees in Huntsville City Schools for Science Curriculum Pacing, Greenpower Curriculum Development and Educator Effectiveness.
