Science was always my favorite subject. I knew I wanted to be a scientist in 3rd grade. My dream came true when I accomplished a BS degree from UAH in Microbiology. My most exciting job was working with astronauts to send an experiment up in the space shuttle. As the successful mission ended, I had my first baby and became a stay at home mom. When my children got old enough to attend school, I still wanted to stay handy so I became a substitute teacher. Deciding that I would enjoy teaching, I went back to college and dreamed of becoming another Ms. Frizzle. Now I have been a Ms. Frizzle since 2005.
