Note: Faculty & staff contact information is available on the staff directory

I have spent the vast majority of my life around the military. The Air Force has enabled me to live all over the world. I grew up in many different places as my father was also in the Air Force. I lived in Japan, Greece, Missouri, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana and Michigan as a kid.

I was an intelligence officer for the duration of my 22 year career and moved all over the world. I was assigned to bases in Texas, Georgia, South Korea, Hawaii, Utah, Virginia, Italy and Alabama. As an intelligence officer my duties mainly focused on working with fighter pilots (F-16 Fighting Falcon), picking enemy targets and the weapons to hit them with, and working with spy planes (U-2 Dragon Lady, MQ-1 Predator and RQ-4 Global Hawk).

More importantly, I am married to a wonderful woman, Belinda Murphy and together we have four children. When not spending time with them I am exercising, following my favorite sports team or reading (my Bible, a book, a news website or ESPN).
