Greetings everyone!!!

My name is Coach Slay and I am hyena happy and peacock proud to be an educator at Huntsville High School. I have been a resident of the Rocket City for 20 plus years. I was born and raised in southern Alabama in historic Selma. I am a proud alum and former student athlete of Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University where I earned a B.S. degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology all while playing baseball for the University. This is my very first year teaching and my goal is to make an impact on high school students each and every day.

I have great passion for educating and leading students. I am currently teaching career prep all while molding some of the most brilliant minds of this generation. Under the leadership of Coach Lamm, I am grateful and honored to serve as the head coach for the freshman baseball team

In my spare time I enjoy watching sports, mentoring at risk youth, horseback riding, fishing, and spending time with my family. I enjoy cuddling with my cats and dogs on brisk fall night under the moonlight. I always tell people there's nothing like Alabama football, fall weather, and pumpkin spice latte.
