Mrs. Woods has been in the Huntsville City School System since 1995 and served as teacher since 1997. She also serves as lead Future Business Leader of America (FBLA) adviser. In 2018, she was inducted into the National FBLA Wall of Fame.

Her hobbies include spending time with family, listening to music and shopping. Her main goal as a teacher is to assist students in exploring various careers and guiding them in the preparation for life after high school.

Mrs. Woods is married and has three children, three grandchildren, one daughter in love, and one son-in-love.
