Welcome to James I. Dawson Elementary! I am certified to teach Elementary Education and Collaborative Education K-6. I have been teaching for two years. I am entering my third year as a Collaborative Teacher. I enjoy gardening, hiking, reading, and hanging out with my dog, Swiper. I love cooking and trying new recipes with my family. This year is going to be a wonderful adventure as I am so excited to meet my new students and discover how they learn best and what brings them joy. My goal is to meet each student where they are and do my best to help them succeed in this ever changing world.
