Anita E. Collins
I enjoy traveling, line-dancing, and trying new eateries. I have two adult children and a “grand” dog. I am originally from Brooklyn, New York, and have lived in the Northeast, Midwest, and South. My family is from Panama, Guyana, and Jamaica. My hope for my students is for them to know that it is never too late to learn a new language and to grow outside of their comfort zones by speaking to others from Latino cultures. I want my students to enjoy the colorful experiences in Spanish class that will result in their personal growth, well-being, and overall success.
