I have the distinct honor and privilege of directing the various bands and musical ensembles here at Jemison High School. These groups include the Mighty Sounds of the South Marching Band, The Pep Band, The Jazz Band, also known as Soulful Blu, and the Mae C. Jemison High School Concert Band. When I am not directing our outstanding students, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and our two amazing kids. I also enjoy playing piano and directing the worship ensemble at Union Chapel Gospel Impact, performing with my band, Element XI, and writing and producing music for myself and other artists. I aspire to empower students through instrumental music education to develop critical thinking and resource gathering skills, in order to become self-sufficient learners.
