My name is Kierra Groce. I am the head JV girls' and Varsity assistant basketball coach. My passion for special needs children stemmed from my autistic cousin Jamaiya who passed in December 2022. I plan to continue her legacy by embracing my students and showing them that no matter their circumstances they are LOVED!!! During my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, watching sports and reading. In college, I participated on the women's basketball team at both UNA and UWA. I am elated to be a part of an amazing staff and program. I couldn’t have chosen a better school to begin my first year as a new coach and teacher. I plan to empower and impact in the best way I know how. My ultimate goal is to help my students and athletes achieve their highest level of potential. I want to continuously spread positive love and be the light everyone needs in their life.
