Dear Jaguar Family,

My name is Terrance Young, and I am excited to be a part of the Mae C. Jemison family.

This is my 2nd year as your Assistant Principal. This year, I will be working with the Junior class. I am committed to working closely with everyone to make Jemison High School the model of excellence.

Now, just a little about me from a personal standpoint. I am originally from Oxford, AL. I graduated from Munford High School, where I met and married my high school sweetheart, and fellow educator, Alecia Young. We have been married for 19 years and have three sons, 17-year-old twins, Terrant and Terrell who are going into their senior year at Sparkman High School, and 13-year-old Tyson, who is an 8th grader at Monrovia Middle. I love spending time with my family watching and playing sports. I am also very active in my church in many capacities.
