My name is Krystal Pippin. I have been teaching at Lakewood since 2016 and enjoying every minute. I absolutely love what I do. I love seeing a smile on everyone's faces when they walk into my room. I love seeing the student's faces light up when they understand a concept. I have been wanting to teach ever since I was a little girl. I married my best friend in 2016, and we have a cat named Evie. We have two sons, Kenneth Ryder Pippin and Rowan Alexander Pippin. He will be three in October. I have two sisters: one is a Graduate from Auburn University and works for Aviagen, and the other is working in a Nursing Home in Athens, AL. My parents are farmers, and they own chicken houses and several cows. My mom is a bus driver for Limestone County Schools.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking with my husband and my sons, working out, spending time with friends and family, and playing games.
