Kevin McDonald
A native Huntsvillian, I have seen the growth of this community, city, and district and am excited to be a part of its future- by leading students toward success daily within this school and my classroom. I am a firm believer in an inclusive, diverse, and equitable learning environment and hope to impart my passion for the sciences and learning to all those who walk through the door of room 119.

Experience
Prior to obtaining my Secondary Education certification I taught with Huntsville City Schools’ Earthscope Environmental Education department, leading experiential science- and history-related field trips throughout North Alabama for students enrolled in any of our district’s elementary schools. If you are a parent, guardian, or student and you remember a field trip to Maple Hill Cemetery, Wheeler Wildlife Refuge, Monte Sano, or Burritt on the Mountain- those are just a few trips the Earthscope Environmental Education department of Huntsville City Schools designs and leads.
