I started my teaching career with Huntsville City Schools years ago and after being gone for so long, I am so excited to be back and be a part of the amazing Mt. Gap family! My husband and I have been married since 2005, and we have two children, Eli and Bella. I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, crafting, and going on walks on the Greenway with our energetic pup, Dixie.

I strive to instill a love of learning and sense of community in my students. It is important to me that I do all I can to create a loving environment where children feel comfortable to share their ideas and know they are valued.
