Hi there! Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I am Mrs. Heilman, and I teach at Mountain Gap Elementary. I am married to a science teacher who teaches at Randolph School and together we enjoy hiking, mountain biking, camping, traveling, and being parents to two wonderful children. We have two rescue dogs and a silly, slinky cat, and we have two pet snakes. I enjoy teaching very much and am so thankful for the children I get to know and serve. I love gardening, reading, and volunteering with local organizations that get me out into nature and help to protect our beautiful Alabama wild places.
