Tina Totora
I have been teaching since January of 2000 and still love every minute in the classroom! When I am not teaching, I spend time with my loving and supportive family. I have been married for many years and have three grown sons, who are married to three lovely ladies. My children have blessed me with four granddaughters. When not with my children and grandchildren, my husband and I spend time traveling, watching movies, boating, skiing, and dining out. I have a career that I love and a wonderful, supportive family. Life is good!

Experience
In Louisiana, I worked for five years as a special education resource teacher to fourth and fifth grade students. I then moved to Huntsville in 2005 and was lucky enough to obtain a position at Mountain Gap, where I have remained and hope to stay for many years to come. During my span at Mountain Gap, I have taught reading, English, and math to sixth grade students with learning differences, worked as a collaborative teacher, 6th grade math teacher, and began teaching 4th grade in 2019. I returned to middle school in 2022. I am now teaching 7th and 8th grade accelerated math. This is my favorite position so far!
