I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, but I was raised in Montgomery, Alabama. Growing up with a mother as an educator, I always had an interest in teaching. When I was younger, I loved to play “school” in my mother’s classroom with my friends–I was always the teacher!

I have a passion for dance and makeup artistry. When I was in middle school I was a part of the dance team. I also attended a performing arts magnet high school where I studied academics, ballet, jazz, and modern dance. I own a makeup business named Brown Beauty Glam. I love Starbucks, my favorite color is green, and my favorite fruit is mango.

Through the strict guidance of my parents, I value the importance of God, family, and education. I have two older brothers and one older sister, and I am the youngest out of 4 siblings from my mother. On my father’s side, I am the oldest among my two brothers and a sister.

I am a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I extend my leadership through volunteering and community service. I love working at McNair as I impact the lives of my students through the lens of science.
