I am an educator because I was raised by an educator. My mom was an English teacher for 42 years. Watching her grade papers and come up with alternate ways to help her students inspired myself and my two sisters to join the field that allows us to help children and watch them grow. I take so much pride in being able to reach and teach my students to be critical thinkers, productive, and responsible individuals. I love kids, I love watching them let go of the outside world and discover something within themselves that allows them to work towards greatness. I pray and hope that the drive that is developed helps them to push even harder in their lives outside of my classroom.
