I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I attended Alabama A&M University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry Science. I have compassion for young people and decided to attend graduate school where I obtained a Master's in Special Education/Learning Disabilities. I successfully completed my teaching practicum and was hired with Huntsville City Schools and assigned for eleven amazing years at Roy Stone Middle School. I am a fun loving and friendly person. I live in the moment with a smile on my face. I am a huge fan of the Fish! Philosophy. I enjoy teaching, going to plays, listening to music, traveling, working with the girl's ministry at the Rock Family Worship Center and spending time with my family and friends. I am married, I have a daughter and also have a Princess; our adorable Shih Tzu. I am also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
