Elisabeth Johnson
My name is Ms. Elisabeth Johnson. This is my 19th year in education. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University. I am currently working on my Education Specialist Degree in Leadership in Mathematics Education at Regent University. I was a semifinalist for Alabama State Teacher of the Year 2012-2013. I achieved National Board Certification in Early Adolescents Mathematics in 2013. Currently, I serve as an education consultant with the Alabama A&M University/UAH Regional In-service Center supporting teachers through the national board process and last but not least I love being a MLK Bulldog! This is my fourth year as a math coach at MLK.
In my spare time I love spending time with my four beautiful children, traveling, reading a good book, baking, and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
