I am a Huntsvillian born and raised, and a proud product of the Huntsville City School system graduating from the great Lee High School. I continued my educational career at Athens State University earning my B.S. degree and Alabama A&M University earning my M.S. degree. I am entering the 16th year of my teaching career and 4th year as Curriculum Specialist at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary. I take great pride in collaborating with teachers and students to share the latest evidenced based techniques and strategies of teaching and learning in an effort to close the academic gap and prepare students for College and Career Readiness.
