Shortly after moving to Huntsville in 2000, I was elated when chosen as the Monte Sano Room 1 kindergarten teacher. Entering this position with more than ten years’ experience, I continue my career calling to nurture students by fostering mental, emotional, and social development. I am dedicated to establishing a safe learning environment in which students feel valued and confident in their abilities. It is a delight to inspire the love of learning and to establish pathways to success. I am passionate about teaching children and seeing them thrive at school…and in the pool! As a Water Safety Instructor, I devote much of the spring and summer to teaching private small group swim lessons. This allows me to enjoy interactions with children year-round. My husband, Bryan, is very supportive and gives much assistance.
